General Peptide Questions
1. What are the intended use of PeptLogic products?
Our products are for peptide testing services meant to be used in academic, commercial or scientific research purposes. They are not made for diagnosing or treating people. Before we accept your order, we might ask you to confirm how you'll use our products. If your order doesn't match what we've said in our Terms and Conditions, we won't accept it. Frankly, if you're unsure about this, our products might not be the right fit for you.
2. Are your products safe for ingestion?
Our products are not approved for medical use, including the treatment, prevention, diagnosis, or cure of any disease or illness. They are not suitable or safe for human consumption and are only approved for sale to, and possession by, individuals or entities qualified to handle them in a laboratory setting. We suggest that our customers talk to a qualified lawyer about how they can use our products, because we can't give legal advice ourselves.
3. Are Product COAs (Certificates of Analysis) included?
For every product batch sold there is a corresponding certificate of analysis.
PeptLogic products undergo rigorous testing to ensure they're safe for research use.
4. How do I store my products?
We recommend storing our sterile lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides in the freezer. To reduce moisture contamination during storage, our peptides are either packaged vacuum sealed or nitrogen filled. The protective vaccum may result in challenges removing reconstituted peptide from the vial.
Once peptides are to be used, bring them up to room temperature before reconstitution with your lab reagents or solvents.
Once the sterile peptide is reconstituted, store in the refrigerator at 2 – 8 °C (above freezing).
